"Lyrical Foundations" Contest

November's contest was different from those in the past, in that, we celebrated God's truth in scripture. Jars of Clay's lyrics are deeply rooted in scripture... scripture which speaks God's truth, wisdom and love. This contest was actually a Bible Study within the guise of a contest, which allowed us to climb deeper into Jars' lyrics, but hopefully even more deeper into God's Word.

Listed below are scripture groupings reflecting the message in specific Jars' songs. Below the scriptures is a list of the song titles (1-10, in random order) which correspond with the scripture groupings.

Congratulations, Derek Antosh!

Derek has won a new Jar of Gems-Jars of Clay's Greatest Hits CD AND a copy of Jars of Clay's joint literary venture with Brother Andrew, "The Narrow Road," a riveting book on the lives of persecuted Christians and their remarkable faith in God.
